Suntech, DuPont to Collab on Solar Backsheets, Supply Chain

It's easy to think about modules as singular units of power output, but the reality is that they are a collection of diverse components, each with influence over the end system's total cost and performance. For DuPont, its focus is of course on the materials side, from metallization pastes used to form contacts on the solar cell, to backsheet materials that protect the panels themselves.
DOE's Untold Impact on Solar

The Obama Administration's $60 billion Loan Guarantee Program (LGP) for renewable energy is considered a failure because of Solyndra, Beacon Power, and potential 2012 bankruptcies. What is not well known is that 75 percent of the program's deployed funds went to relatively low risk power plants that will catapult the U.S. to a leadership role in the utility-scale solar sector. This is hardly the hallmark of a "failed program." The program is akin to Shakespeare's King Henry V, who said as a delinquent Prince: "I'll so offend as to make offense a skill, redeeming time when men think least I will."

Financing & Funding Solutions

Affordable Growth to Solar for Everyone

At GreenFuel Technologies, we believe that solar can work for everyone, and we have performed projects for many different budgets, system specifications, and energy independence goals. We’ll be here to support you for the duration of your entire project – from design and build to financing and customer service support. Whatever your need, we have solutions for everyone to grow to solar.

Cash Purchases

The federal government offers enticing incentives for cash purchases, covering 30% of system cost. In addition, state and local governments and utilities provide rebates of their own, which will add to your savings. Many rebates are set to expire in the near future, so now is the perfect time to invest in a solar power system. With average ROIs of 8 to 12%, putting cash toward a solar system is a lucrative move for your investment portfolio.

Leases and PPAs

For those who don’t want to purchase a system outright, leases and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) are designed to help you transition to renewable solar energy with little to $0 down with a small monthly payment. Since your monthly payment is most likely less than your current electrical bill, your savings begin from day one. Plus maintenance and full support is also included to ensure a hassle-free return on investment. You will receive all the benefits associated with a solar power system, without any of the inconveniences of ownership.

Bank Loans

Financing through our trusted institutional investors is yet another option to help make the crossover to solar power. For those who qualify, bank loans will provide a convenient alternative to receive generous home equity loan rates with possible interest-paid tax deductions. The options and terms are diverse and customizable, with something feasible for everyone. With a low monthly payment, you will conveniently become the owner of a new solar power system.
